Legionella Risk Assessments
It is a legal requirement to have a Legionella risk assessment of all cold and hot water systems.
We work on the following systems :
- Cold water storage tanks

- Domestic water tanks/ systems
- Calorifiers and water heaters
- Air handling units
- System pipework
Our Legionella risk assessment includes identification and evaluation of potential sources of risk (Legionnaires' disease)
Legionella Risk Management Programme
A P Consultants Ltd proactive risk management programmes will recommend the processes and actions required to control the identified risks identified in the Legionella Risk Assessment report. A risk management programme will also ensure regulatory compliance.
The risk from Legionella in water systems is greatly reduced if regular monitoring is carried out. Our experienced team will ensure that the health risks are fully managed and that that the level of any contaminants remain below the legally acceptable levels.

Under the ACoP L8 http://www.hse.gov.uk/legionnaires/ there is a requirement to produce schematic drawings for complex hot and cold water systems and evaporative water systems. These drawings need to include all the assets associated with the system, including items like valves and dosage equipment.

A P Consultants Ltd can survey sites to collect and record all necessary information for an accurate schematic drawing to be produced. A P Consultants Ltd can produce colour schematic drawings (in A0, A1, A2, A3 or A4 format) available in a number of recognised formats including AutoCAD. Drawings can be made available in digital format.
